| The main aim of the project was to produce quantitative assessment elements on past and future consequences of nutrient inputs from French and Belgian coastal rivers (Seine, Somme, Escaut) with regards to eutrophication status in the English Channel North Sea. This project will reinforce implementation of the Water Framework Directive (2000/60/CE), in the context of the 2.1. axis (Definition of ecological status) from APR LITEAU II.
